Vulkà Etna Rosato comes from grapes of the Nerello Mascalese variety. The volcanic origin and the altitude of the vineyards give a marked minerality, a remarkable freshness and an unmistakable style to the wine which is also striking for the complexity of its floral and fruity aromas.

Grapes:Nerello Mascalese 100%

Vineyards:soils composed of volcanic sands, derived from the disintegration of the lava masses, very rich in minerals, located at an altitude ranging from 650 to 750 m above sea level with considerable temperature variations between day and night; training system: counter-espalier with spurred cordon

Collection:manual in crates, in the first ten days of October

Maceration:cold for 24 hours in contact with the skins, before undergoing a soft pressing

Fermentation:after 48 hours of static decanting, fermentation for about 20-25 days at a controlled temperature (15-18 ° C)

Refinement:in stainless steel tanks, then about 3 months in the bottle

Alcoholic degree: 12,5% vol.

At the sight:pale pink with bright reflections

On the nose:wide range of aromas ranging from floral to fruity; notes of wild rose, currants, wild strawberries, pink grapefruit, dehydrated fruit and spices, such as pink pepper

On the palate:great freshness and minerality in the mouth, where the same fruity notes that characterize the olfactory profile are repeated; persistent and harmonious overall

Pairings:of great versatility at the table, it goes well with cured meats, cheeses, roasted white meats, but also with fish couscous, shellfish risotto, tuna tartare, swordfish alla ghiotta and other tasty seafood specialties typical of the Mediterranean tradition
